Luciano at The Beaumont Club Kansas City needed that! Was the remark I heard numerous times last night. Luciano and Mikey General not only put on a great show but helped rejuvenate the reggae community here. I was happy that Mikey had a fairly lengthy set but I still could have heard more. Luciano only did three or four tunes from his newest CD interspersed with hits spanning his career. For many it was their first time to hear local bands 77 Jefferson and Jah Roots. Most remarked that hey hoped to go see them again soon. |
